So this one of THE creepiest things that the field of robotics has ever produced.
It's a quadraped robot that is being developed for the DOD. The insectoid appearance along with the gaunt of a yak with a slight case of polio just gives me the creeps.
The way it can negotiate difficult terrain and recover from balance jarring kicks is amazing to say the least...

THANK GOD! Peter Furia had a way to diffuse this amazing and creepy demonstration of technology with one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
